Here is an email I published on my old xanga site and sent to friends when we were still attending AOG and were seeking to reform the harlot. This was based on a news story at the time. Its interesting to see the partial light I had from the Lord at the time and how He felt it better to leave me in there and grieve over it for so long.

Coal Executive: We Knew Information Was Terribly WrongWednesday, January 04, 2006
TALLMANSVILLE, W.Va. — A coal company executive says it became clear within 20 minutes that the news anxious family members had received about the survival of a dozen trapped miners was terribly wrong.
Yet for three hours, church bells rang in celebration, families joined arm-in-arm to sing joyous hymns, the governor proclaimed it a miracle, and television newscasts and newspapers spread the word around the world.
When the truth finally unfolded early Wednesday, with families members called back and told the 12 were actually dead and only one miner survived, joy turned instantly to fury and a scuffle broke out when relatives lunged at a coal company official.
<=====================================Friends,
All I can say is WOW, I’m not able in good conciense to pass this one up. It’s almost as if this story was written as an alagory about the church. Think about the coming day of wrath when God judges the world in rightousness, when sinners find out just how terribly wrong the information they recieved from our Churches was. When all those who were told that God loves them and wanted an abundant life for them, but never understood their need to truly repent, are cast into the lake of fire with the words “depart from me you worker of iniquity”. It’s crucial to note that Gods word doesn’t call that day the coming day of love, in spite of what the modern message of the church would have us believe.
It’s true today that church bells are ringing and we join arm-in-arm to sing joyous hymns over the decisions we recieve for Christ. Brothers and sisters please, if you only take one thing from this email, take this; We are the only ones rejoicing over these decisions, the angels in heaven reserve all rejoicing for repentant sinners. (Luke 15:7) We can proclaim these decisions as miracles and spread the news of rescued life around the world, but there is coming a day of reckoning when the truth will finally unfold. We can get a glimpse of this by considering the 95% fall away rate that is well documented in the Assemblies of God churches. That is, the 95% false conversion rate we produce by getting decisions for Christ that lack Godly repentance.
When joy turns to fury on that day, how many damned souls will want to lunge at us, the messangers of false hope? Friends, I’m not talking about overt prosperity teaching like you hear from that big church in Houston Texas. I’m talking about simply excluding from our message the exceedingly sinfulness of sin, the wrath of a holy God, His soon coming jugdement and the torment of Hell for risk of sounding old fashion, harsh or condeming. Although we can lift their hopes and offer a false sense of security with our soft messages, when eternal truth unfolds and they are found to be guilty before Gods holy law, that hope will vanish like a vapor. What an awesome responsibility we have to share the whole council of God with the lost around us. We must pursude our church leadership to preach these vital truths as well. Afterall, they are the very reason men are commanded to repent (Acts 17:30-31)
In Christ,
Jim
I didnt realize then that what these religious professionals cared most about was money and reputation, not souls.
Isaiah 56:9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

Jeremiah 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
