What Christ has done for His true bride

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;  And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. ~Collosians 2 kjv

From the young successful business man who is without God to the washed up old drunk who is without God.  From the young woman that aborts her pregnancy to the outwardly moral church lady that is inwardly a stranger to the commonwealth of Isreal.  From the young man caught in the shame of a homosexual lifestyle to the father that secretly views porn on the internet when his wife is away.  From the rebelious youth who despise what they see of the dead evangelical church system to the religous man who thinks he has peace with God by attending a Church service on Saturday.

Christ has made a public specatacle of all of these principalities and powers!  He has dealt them a death blow and taken those things which once captivated us captive!  He saved us from all the powers of hell and triumphed over them.  There are two type of people who are under law.  Those who openly rebel against it and those who claim to keep the letter and seek to be justified by it.  Both are condemned.  But Christ has broken those iron bars to set the captives free.  We must exit our prison cell on our kness though.  The proud law breaker and the proud (self proclaimed) letter of the law keeper can never escape in their current state. 

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. ~Galatians 5:18

    Excellent point! Law breakers and Law keepers. Both have not submitted to the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

    Christ offers each and everyone of these salvation. Just repent (turn toward God and away from sin) and trust in Jesus as your only Savior. As a saved but depraved human being, you will still struggle with sin and will probably still have issues with your former state, but because of constant repentance and acceptance of Christ’s gift of the cross, you will find it easier and easier to overcome… by the Grace of God. You will find pleasing God, pleasing. And sin will become repulsive to you.

    You did pick some strange examples though. None of your examples disqualify anybody from salvation. From going to Church on Saturday to a woman who is a stranger to Israel.

    You could also say the following:

    From the young man who condemns technology to broadcast the love of God to the proud man who uses technology to condemn the sins of others. From the CEOs (Christmas and Easter Only’s) who rarely attend Church to the believers who attend multiple times a week to worship themselves and just how right they are with God while everybody else is stumbling. From the woman who pickets the abortion line yelling hateful things at the lost and confused to the church that pickets the funerals of soldiers because God hates fags. And finally… from a man, freshly baptised because he “felt” something at church at an alter call to a woman who fakes speaking in tongues because her church deems it a sign of salvation and having the Holy Spirit.

      Speaking of strange, your words seem to be at odds with the word of God! Here is a Biblical breakdown to help clarify…

      From the young successful business man who is without God to the washed up old drunk who is without God.

      I hope we can agree that those who are without God are disqualified from salvation That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ~ Eph 2:12

      From the young woman that aborts her pregnancy to the outwardly moral church lady that is inwardly a stranger to the commonwealth of Isreal.

      See above scripture to clarify my use of a stranger to the commonwealth of Isreal

      I am speaking of habitual, unrepentant, sexual immorality above. In stark contrast to American Christianity, the Apostle Paul states that whoever lives and dies this way will be disqualified from salvation as evidenced by corrupt fruit.

      Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ~ 1Co 6:9-10

      Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. ~ Gal 5:19-21

      From the rebellious youth who despise what they see of the dead evangelical church system to the religious man who thinks he has peace with God by attending a Church service on Saturday.

      Rebellious youth are disqualified from salvation; they must lay down their arms and make peace with king Jesus on His terms. The very term rebel implies sinful. The man who thinks he has peace with God (is justified) by keeping the old covenant sabbath is accursed and cut off from Christ. He is most certainly disqualified from salvation. Since you have been a part of this blog for a while you KNOW I am not speaking of someone who has a personal conviction on a day but rather belongs to a cult that teaches you must “go to church” on Saturday to keep the law and be justified before God.

      You could also say the following:

      BTW The people that I know who evangelize at abortion clinics do so with the anointing of God and love and compassion of Jesus in their heart.
