Palm Sunday

I just read on a message board that it is palm sunday – i had no idea and that greatly encouraged me (the fact that i had no idea – not that it’s palm sunday). I think there is a connection between elevating religious “holidays” and having a lack of reality of Christ in our lives. I have no problem with people remembering certain parts of the Lords time on earth – but if our life is not hidden in Christ all year then it is only a meaningless snare.

T0 explain – He is Risen!!! Reads the billboard on the church meeting house. For those who are truly born again – He is risen everyday in their lives, not in theory but in reality.

Amen! ….”there is a connection between elevating religious “holidays” and having a lack of reality of Christ in our lives”…

WHO needs “easter” (an ancient pagan festival to a false goddess Ishtar) to worship the King of all kings who died and rose again for our justification? Good Friday? Christmas? Huhhhh? Those who truly know the LORD have firstly repented – turned their lives over to Him completely. Then, they worship Jesus “daily” in spirit and in truth (Luke 9:23-24; John 4:23-24). The true justified believer doesn’t need a so-called special holiday to give God lip service by giving Him a token day of supposed “worship.” That is for the heathen who wish to temporarily soothe their conscience for a day, etc. But Jesus says “Ye must be born again.” (John 3:3,7)
