Using our freedom to homeschool

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; – Psalm 1

I am always encouraged to hear of American Christians pulling their children from the public school system.  A look at the average public school:

  • Delusional and godless teachers who think it is great that Heather has two mommies
  • Mean, haughty, and rebellions blaspheming children
  • Complete academic failure (the very purpose for which the system was created)

Putting our precious children into that system seems more like a curse than a blessing.  This is the type of thing that believers in communist or socialist countries are forced to do.  I know there are rare cases where believers in America have no other choice but I believe this is an exception.    I can testify that the spiritual and natural blessings of homeschooling our children make any sacrifice worth it.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. -1 John 5:19

Yes and amen Jim…..this is the sad state of American schools here is the US and what the children are being brainwashed in.. Both grand-daughters of mine went to public schools and picked up the worldly ways of other kids, as well as the false ungodly liberal propaganda that the teachers taught. The older one majored in political science in college,, and is now in Washington DC and is doing part time fundraising for “some birth control” group my son told me. She is obviously liberal in her world view. The son told me if she doesn’t find a full time job now she will have to come back to our home state. That’s what I’m praying for. The other girl began a lesbian relationship at about age 16 for awhile, which was OK with the mom, and I guess my son stayed mum about it. I prayed…..not allowed to tell them anything.

Every time I’ve gone to visit them, which hasn’t been often, I cry all the way home.

Homeschooling is the best way to go for Christians and their children if at all possible.
